Kells and Connor Community Improvement Association
The Committee's aim is to promote community involvement and to improve the physical appearance of the villages and we would invite you to help us try to achieve this.
SHOPPING IN THE VILLAGES
We are continually grateful for the financial support we receive from our local business people, and so in return it is very important that we as customers all shop locally whenever possible, and fully support our local business community.
Remember, if we lose our local shops, we also lose the heart of our community.
FLOWERS AROUND THE VILLAGES
We would like to thank Ballymena Borough Council for supplying our hanging baskets, Mr Bertie Mills, Kells Garden Centre, and Thompson Millar of Sizzlers for their kind donation of plants which have now been planted in our new wooden barrels.
The Community Association appreciate all who helped in this planting and also those who maintain and water these baskets and barrels over the summer months.
With the rising cost of fuel at the minute, it is a good idea to check out ways of trying to save a bit of money on your household bills, or think about insulating your home in time for the winter months. The Energy Saving Trust can give advice and help to those trying to cut the cost of their energy bills. Go to their website for more information. http://www.energysavingtrust.org.uk/Northern-Ireland-advice-centre
